Many of the spirits we know, and love are rooted in medicine.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the history of alcohol infusion in the creation of herbal treatments for common ailments.
Whether in the mysterious 130-herb-long secret recipe of Chartreuse, or the juniper-berry base of gin, medicinal botanicals have extensive applications in spirits.
We’ll examine a variety of botanicals, their medicinal compounds, and the process of extracting those compounds with spirits.
Participants will create their own medicinal botanical blend to infuse at home
