Across Cultures | Invisible Ties and Journeys of Hope

This exhibition explores ideas of displacement, migration, and immigration. What does it mean to move geographically and, more importantly, how does migrating affect one’s cultural identity? How does navigating different cultures shape one’s world view? Does the current social and political climate influence the discourse around immigration? Can art help us understand voices that are not our own?

This group exhibition addresses concepts of migration, cultural identity, and the discourse around immigration. It aims to bring awareness of what is to be “the other” and creates an environment where diversity is acknowledged and celebrated. In encouraging artists to share their stories of hardship, resilience, and hope, we aim to start a conversation around migration and the role of cultural identity in artistic expression.
